Yes -- in my opinion we should reserve the "copy" menu item for making
a logical clone of whatever is currently selected into the clipboard.
This hasn't been implemented yet; one reason/excuse is that GTK+ 2
unifies the way this is handled between X and MS Windows, so it will
be easier to get right once (most) people are using 2.0. (By the way,
how many people on the list are using 2.0, 1.2/early 1.3, or not using
GTK at all?)
But I do think there should be a menu item for copying the board.
Perhaps a "copy board" item (which could possibly be a submenu)?
Cheers,
Gary.
