Jellyfish also get this wrong, but not as wrong as GNU Backgammon:

Notice that the Jellyfish is in the right alley at all levels, when it
comes to cubeless equities, (even though it still misplays the moves). GNU
Backgammon is not even in the right district for the cubeless equities.
