It's actually already possible to do this. If you like to write
commands you can (otherwise you'll have to wait for the GUI tu spupport
this):
set rollout cubedecision plies 2
set rollout chequerplay plies 0
Try the commands
help set rollout
help set rollout cubedecision
to get some minimal help regarding which commands are available.
In fact, you can go even further
set rollout player 0 cubed plies 2
set rollout player 0 cheqp plies 2
set rollout player 1 cubed plies 0
set rollout player 1 cheqp plies 0
This can be used to simulate play between player of different strength.
