Just a thought:
For the truly uninitiated, a backgammon board, with its points is more
easily recognised than dice or a doubling cube.
But that's likely to make the logo bigger or visually busier, so it
may not be all that useful.
Caveat:
Art is not one of my strongpoints. I can't even colour inside the lines.
