I checked in changes to compute the gammon rate in bearoff positions almost to perfection. It is a one sided approach. The positions I checked shows an error rate in the 4'th or 5'th digit, as close to perrect I want to get. 

It is quite cheap due to the very large factor of compression one can apply.
