I'll see if it works tonight or tomorrow.

I've got a patch which adds a command line color selection for
highlighted lines :-)

   set highlightcolour <colour> intensity [normal|medium|dark]

where colour is any of:

black        cyan         magenta      purple       springgreen yellow
blue         gold         orange       red          turquoise    
chartreuse   green        orangered    skyblue      violet       

I had fun figuring out how to do tab completion on colour names :-)
