Since this seems as if it will finally be resolved, I'd like to add
another couple of points regarding default settings.

First to address Jim's reply: I'd say on the left. The reason is that
most Windows software (I don't know if other OS have different
standards) do not have active functions with the right mouse button, if
they use the right mouse button at all that is. In most cases, it is
used to summon local functions such as local menus, etc. This is just to
say that new users are unlikely to start trying to move pieces with both
the right and left mouse buttons IMHO.

I'd also like to suggest the following change which is one that I have
received at least 4-5 times via e-mail (I'll gladly forward a few if
necessary): people using 800x600 resolutions complain they cannot see
the Game Record window as it appears by default off the screen. Have the
default within visible range for those users.

Finally, I'd personally suggest having the win/loss chances in the
Annotation/Hint window changed to a default of GWC and MWC. So far every
person I've showed this to, whether in person, or via e-mail (the
tutorial has gotten me a number of support questions despite my
directions to this e-mail at the end) has thanked me and preferred this.
I realize that if one is used to it, it is a non-issue, and some such as
Gary have said they prefer the 4 decimal point scores, but AFAIK, most
(all I've encountered so far) have preferred seeing this displayed in
clear percentiles.

                                                Albert
