[Bug-gnubg] analysis feature request

I spend a disproportionate amount of time in Analysis trying to improve my play. For example, if on move #x I had played the second or third best move and ultimately lose the game or even win a game that maybe could have been a gammon, I will often go back to move #x and try the best move and see how I fare from there (I realize that from then on, both gnubg and myself get new rolls of dice, but still it is fun and enlightning to see if by making the best move, it improved my overall lot). Sometimes I will return to a difficult positions and play it over several times from that point to get a feel for what I'm up against (I guess you could say I like to do manual roll-outs!)

What gnubg analysis often will report however, is that I either a) doubled when it wasn't warranted, b) should have doubled, but didn't, c) accepted a double that I shouldn't have, or d) passed on a double that I should have accepted. In each of these cases I would like to resume play from that move, playing properly, cube-wise. In other words, if I should have doubled, I would like to double and go on. (I realize that in some cases this might immediately end the game, as would be the case if gnubg decided to pass on the double, but still it would allow me to continue many games 'more like an world class player' were playing my side.) gnubg does not allow me to 'correct' this player error and continue, or at least I haven't figured out how. Is this possible?
