I'm a numbers kind of guy, so I think I'd benefit more by seeing the numbers 
and just having the colour as reinforcement. 

It won't be the same for everybody, so how about having it as an option button 
along the bottom?

Getting creative, another useful option might be to display the best play in 
each box. This means we could easily look at the best way to play each upcoming 
roll. This could be great for studying things like bearoff technique, 
containment etc.
