[Bug-gnubg] Compile: Solaris msgfmt and it.po

Hi all,

I've built again on Solaris and it fails with:

it.po:12432: end-of-line within string
found 1 fatal errors
gmake[3]: *** [it.gmo] Error 1

The line concerned is this (the 2nd):
msgid "Depth"
msgstr "Profondit\xe0"

\xe0 is an à which seems to be a line-feed one line up. Changing it to 
"Profondita" ran well, but is of course not correct Italian.
