EPC is effective pip count.

The effective pipcount does not correspond to a CPW.
I get:
(jth) show onechequer
Number of rolls to bear off, assuming each player has one chequer only.
Pips Avg. rolls Std.dev.
gnubg 43 5.842 1.197
jth 38 5.230 1.123
Estimated cubeless gwc: 75.4465%
Effective pip count:
EPC Wastage
gnubg 47.712 4.712
jth 42.712 4.712
EPC = Avg. rolls * 8.167
Wastage = EPC - Pips
That is, the estimated cubeless gwc is 75.4465%.
