Yes, see my reply to Erik.

Note that the RNG is only seeded when you do "set rng ..", "set seed
..", "set rollout seed ..", and "show onesided". You must have issued
one of these commands to reset the seed.

Try using an RNG different from MT; now only the commands "set rng .."
and "set seed .." will seed the RNG.
