I've got the Intel compiler installed on this machine, here's some tests 
I've just run:
Intel: 23144
Mingw: 20407
Msvc: 20156

So mingw is a bit quicker then MSVC on this machine - I think this 
result was reversed on my P4HT machine.  Intel is normally faster then 
MSVC so that result isn't surprising.

I've got Borland installed as well, but it's generally much slower than 
Intel+MSVC so I can't be bothered to test it.
