Try to rightclick on the file and choose "Save Link As". That
should download the file.

However.....

I think it's better to compile GNU Backgammon from the sources.
Can you try to obtain the sources by cvs? Try these steps:

export CVSROOT=:pserver:address@hidden:/cvsroot/gnubg

cvs login

You will then be prompted for a password, but just press enter since you're
anonymous.

cvs -z3 co gnubg

This will hopefully retrive the very latest source code for the
development cvs repository.

./configure

make

I had a small problem with the compilation of the sound.c file. (Hopefully
I'll be able to fill out a bug report or fix this problem.) If you get this
problem at your system, you can configure without the sound, like this:

./configure --without-sound
