Hi Anton,
The tutorial is not up-to-date hence the discrepancies you are seeing.
However, what you did to start a match is correct: Press the New button,
select your choices and then press Ok. Mind you, you can now find the
program here, http://www.gnubg.org/downloads/windows/ and updates at
http://users.skynet.be/bk228456/GNUBgW.htm
Presuming you chose a game against GNUbg, if it is its turn to play it
should roll the dice and begin playing immediately, and if it is your
turn, it should roll the dice (since there's no double before the first
roll) and wait for you to play. After that, to roll you need only click on
the board itself in the center of one of the right side. You're not
clicking on Edit by any chance are you? Try loading it up, and just doing
the above: New --> and click Ok immediately without making any changes.

Subject: GNU BG question

Hello,
First, thank you for creating the "All About GNU BG" page.
I've been having difficulty with the program and I'm sure that I've
missed something simple. I can't get a game going. There is no toolbar
on my program like the one pictured in your guide and I haven't been able
to configure the options to get one.
I press the "New" icon to start a game the menu comes up I select my
options (money game) and the game does not start, the roll option on the
game menu remains ghosted.
Thank you in advance for any insight.
Regards,
Anton Reynolds
P.S. I am running the 0.14-devel build (April 20, 2004) on Windows XP.
