This is a gtk2 problem - I'll will check in a fix, the docking/undocking still doesn't quite work for gtk2 under windows, can you check this works for you?

Sad to see such deterioration on the Linux version. I guess it is inevitable
when the developers are on windows, still GNUbg was supposed to be
multiplatform, and the only option on UNIX.

I think all the developers use unix/linux, I'm probably the only one who uses windows mainly. This is definitely the focus for gnu in general, on the other hand there are probably a lot of gnubg users using windows too.
