compiles fine here on ubuntu, which I suppose is the same for practical
purposes. What I have to do though, is moving the files included in the
m4 directory out of the way, since most of them are obsolete. I have
installed all, or at least most, of the libraries that gnubg needs. The
only needed .m4 file I don't have pre-installed on my system is gtkglext
related, so I had to move it back into the m4 directory. Then running
the aclocal -I m4 command should take care of the rest.
