I suggest: erftest.c hashtest.c and md5test.c (and maybe bearoffdump.c)
removed totally.
makebearoff1.c makebearoff.c makehyper.c makeweights.c can be moved to a
'tool' directory.

Yes, long term plan.... This has been discussed some years ago as well.
Dmitri even posted a suggested directory structure. I'm not sure if
there is a GNU standard/recommended structure. I beleve I found such
once, but don't remember where of course.

Important. (at least a bit important). Do _not_ remove the files in root
directory and add them in a subdirectory. That won't preserve the
history. Decide what to move and lat one of the savannah hackers do the
job. They have shell access.
