With all due respect to Douglas, I think the idea of "giving the bot a
personality" is too vague. If Douglas has shared some very specific
implementation ideas and asks not to use them I think his wish should
be respected, but I have a feeling this is not the case here. I may be
wrong but offhand I can't remember any of Douglas ideas that were
eventually implemented in gnubg. I exchanged many interesting emails
with Douglas but as far as I remember nothing concrete ever found it's
way into gnubg internals.
Personally, I think bot personality is very hard to pull off, and I
would be very much interested to finally see zbot in action, even
without any personality.
