Just a minor comment: Are we sure that all the documentation is GFDL?

Agreed. I think we should remove the gtktexi widget from the trunk. It makes 
GNU Backgammon bloated and it's so incomplete that no one uses it. There has 
been no development on this for ages. Let's remove this....
