Hello to all Intel Mac users,
why don't you go to my iDisk's public folder (in Finder --> Go -->
iDisk --> Other User's Public Folder --> joerg.picard) and double
click on gnubg.dmg and give it a try.
Please let me know whether it works. It works on my system, but
I've got all the unix stuff installed and I'd like to find out
whether this package is self sufficient.
Tested it now, and finally I got gnubg working on my intel mac :-)
gnubg has to be installed into your Applications folder and won't
work from any other location. For any of you non-english Mac Users:
I hope OSX uses the same underlying file structure independent of
language so dragging gnubg into i.e. Anwendungen in German for
instance will still result that it winds up in /Applications. I
hope somebody can confirm this.
Does gnubg automatically recognize your language? Did you have to
set it manually? Did switching to another language work?
My install is in English.
This version also installs a relational database, so please also
test wether you can connect to the relational database and add
matches etc.
Another thing to try is whether you can fork into a Python shell
under View --> Python Shell.
Works.
This version should have everything, so make sure you're hearing
sounds and can switch to and configure 3d boards.
3d board works.
Sounds does not work.
