I guess there's nobody to convince here that Word is not the right choice.
That said, I'm not that sure that PDF is neither, since it is often difficult
to edit PDF docs. PDF export code is available and seems to work fine, hence
it's probably ok to keep it.
On the other hand, export to RTF (which seems to be an open format, as far
as I can see) sounds like a good idea, but I don't know how much effort this
will take (and for sure there are more urgent things to do).
