Hi Jim,
I personally found the closing sound extremely annoying.
However, I wouldn't be against reintroducing it, since I play with all the
sound off anyway. Maybe we may have it back optionally (i.e. default
is no closing sound, but can be manually changed in the options, as for all the
existing sounds) ...
