Patti and Kit's book uses gnubg images. They claim copyright of the
illustrations, and I didn't spot an acknowledgement of gnubg. (Would you expect
them to acknowledge MS paint if they'd drawn the boards with that?)
I looked at it
http://www.amazon.co.uk/52-Great-Backgammon-Tips-Tournament/dp/0713490640/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1199442492&sr=8-1
on Amazon yesterday, and I can't say they looked great; too dark.
Maybe someone could come up with a monochrome format that prints better. (I've
tried several times, but it goes all wrong when I save it.)
