There are a number of OS/X builds for PPC/Intel and different versions of
OS/X (Tiger/Leopard etc).

If your are using Leopard on an Intel CPU based computer do this:

Download:

http://www.acepoint.de/downloads/gnubg_all.pkg

Once downloaded run the pkg (double click on it). At the prompts, I
recommend the defaults - so hit "Continue", "Continue", "Agree", Install.

After installing using the Finder navigate to

/opt/local/bin

Double click on the icon "gnubg". This should automatically start X windows
(if its not already running) and then load GnuBG. The first time you run it
this way Gnubg will take some time to load (SO it may look like its not
doing anything for 20-30 seconds before displaying the splash screen). The
first time is slow, subsequent runs should load pretty quickly.
