Can't reproduce it on Debian Lenny Stable.

I had a copy of Kubuntu9.04 (I know Misja is using Ubuntu but not sure what
release). I installed it in VMWare, did an apt-get build-dep gnubg as a
cheap way of pulling in the dependencies.

I pulled the latest CVS (With the assert fixes)

I then did:

./configure --enable-threads

sudo make install

Ran Gnubg (With no gnubg directory present in ~/.gnubg since it was my first
time). I did "Show Records" it told me "No data in Database". I then played
a 3 pt match. I did "Add match or session to the database". It happily added
it. I went and did a "Show records" and it happily displayed the database

I then exited, removed the database, redid the same exercise of playing a
3pt match and added/showed the records with no issues.

I noticed that Misja doesn't use python. So I did the entire compile/testing
above except I used:

./configure --enable-threads --without-python

My build environment is about as virgin as you can get. It was 32 bit. Are
you guys using 64 bit OS's?

I must admit I have never seen the behavior you guys are experiencing.
