Another thing I'm wondering about is the future of gtkglext. As far as I know it hasn't been changed for years and as long as gtkglext depends on gtk2 we do as well.
Hi Christian,It appears that there has been some recent work on gtkglext. The most recent commit was last October 15th, 2010. Also, last summer they finally did some work on the Quartz back end and it is supposed to be working now. That makes a native GTK+ version of gnubg on the Macintosh a bit closer. As far as GTK+-3.0 compatibility, from a quick scan of the commit logs it appears that gtkglext has not yet been updated and still depends on GTK+-2.0. http://git.gnome.org/browse/gtkglext
