Confirmed. Appears that when the bot offers a resignation and it is auto
playing it doesn't reset the resignation state - It still thinks the
game is in progress (The accept/reject buttons are active and the flag
is still on the table).

The short term workaround is to turn the "command" pane on. Then you can
manually enter the command 'new game' (no quotes of course) to start the
next game.
