When you play a NackGammon game/match a saved to
JellyFish mat starts whit the line
; [Variation "NackGammon"]
I wonder when you play a hypergammon the first line
of a JF mat is not ; [Variation "HyperGammon (num checkers)"]
This should be easy to add (for export and import).
I use myself this kind of lines in the application i wrote
using the gnubg .dll of Mike Rutman
This way i can play/replay/handle variations in JF_mat format
included the variations as they are in BGBLITZ
Glimlach I told Frank Berger that it is impossible to replay those
matches in BGBLITZ
Just is case :
- does anyone know other applications that may use this kind of comment ?
XG doesn't play hypergammon I think, but it would be annoying if there
were someone using "hypergammon (3)", another one "hypergammon 3", etc...
- Lucas, could you send me some files created by your application ?
I also found, at least under windows 7, gnubg hangs when you
try to analyse a hypergammon
I have never tried hypergammon. I will build the databases and take a
look, but probably won't insist if the issue is difficult.
