If one uses New and then Edit Position, on the other hand, the moves list is cleared, the checkers setup is preserved but then the dice are cleared, the cube is set to one and centered and the score set to 0-0 in a 7 points match.
I don't understand the point of the last changes :If the idea is to setup a "reference position" from the current position, the dice and cube should be preserved as well and the match length and score either kept or set to a money game (my preference).
If not, then what is the use of New then Edit instead of the direct Edit ? Does someone use this feature ? In what circumstances ?
