Interesting site. It also explains that only the date of first
publication (the first year) and the date of last publication of the
modified work (the last year) are relevant. The years in between are
not.

So it doesn't really matter whether the software was also modified in
1995 or not. We could just write
Copyright (C) 1993-2003 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
