Then it's a doc bug. The GCC doc in svn (invoke.texi line 6589) says about the
effects of -fprofile-use:

     The following options are enabled: `-fbranch-probabilities',
     `-fvpt', `-funroll-loops', `-fpeel-loops', `-ftracer'

If inlining is also affected, the doc should say so.
