What I meant is that uClibc does not define __GLIBC__ if __FORCE_NOGLIBC is

For this reason, if you want to test for glibc OR uClibc, you can't do
  #if defined __GLIBC__
; you have to write
  #if defined __GLIBC__ || defined __UCLIBC__
