        Well, a lot of people are subscribed; but now it is just a
List-O-Spam.  I suspect that they are quite happy to see a real request.

        That is a great idea.  I suspect that we should follow the
protocol [1] in the "Information for Maintainers of GNU Software"
manual, chapter 16.  I will trust that Jim can split up the PDF into 20
different fascicles for proofreading.
