gnustep-base (Foundation)


Set up default search paths if the environment variables are 
missing.
Support loading of strange files such as those in the /proc 
filesystem.
Fix all memory leaks in ffcall library support.
Reduce minimum timeouts for timers and for multithreaded Distributed 
Objects support -
for use on new faster processors.
Improve locale support on MINGW systems
Improve efficiency of handling subtasks and notifications of when 
they have completed.
Improve NSFileManager to handle symbolic links properly.
Various other minor bugfixes or optimisations



gnustep-gui (GUI frontend library)


Spell checking framework implemented.  This is quite a major
Various optimisations and minor fixes




gnustep-make (Makefiles package)


Improved java support ... simplify handling of classpath/library 
dependencies
Improved documentation support ... don't regenerate from gsdoc 
unnecessarily
Big performance improvements.
Fixed minor bugs.




gnustep-db (database library)


Updated Postgres and Sybase support.




JIGS (Java language interface)


Updated for gcc-3.0
Revised mechanism for generating wrappers to decouple it from the 
building of the original objc library.




Gorm (Interface Builder clone)


Now handles in-place editing of text in NSForms.
Window size inspector implemented - to provide fine control over 
window sizes.
Implemented renaming of outlets.
Support changing number of rows/columns in a matrix.
Implement export of classes to .m and .h source files.
Implement a key equivalent for inspectors.
Enable docking in Window Maker dock.
Enable launching from GSWorkspace etc.



tests (Base library regression tests)


Added tests for symbolic link handling.
Added tests for MSObject isClass method.
