GNUSTEP Internal Error

Attempting to:
 rpmbuild --rebuild gnustep-gui-0.8.4-1.src.rpm
on a RedHat 8.0 x86 machine (with gnustep-make-1.5.2-1 and
gnustep-base-1.5.2-1) fails with:

  The private GNUstep function to establish the argv and environment
  variables was not called.

So, as requested :-), I am reporting the Internal Error.
