Details:

Matt Rice reported on the closing of bug #4635:



NSButton method -stringValue -setStringValue: is not fixed, still sets the
title where it should set the state.

 though this is a delicate issue, considering anyone who went [aButton
setStringValue:@"a button title"]; should get an enabled button with the
default title.

 

 and iirc [aButton setStringValue:@""]; should give you a disabled button
with the default title.
