Incidentally, on NetBSD/i386 2.0.2 I get:

vesuvius# ./runtests.sh base
--- Running tests in base ---
Making all in GenericTests...
gmake[1]: Entering directory
`/usr/local/src/gs/20050708/dev-apps/test/Testsuite/base/GenericTests'
Making all for subproject generictests...
gmake[2]: Nothing to be done for `internal-subproject-all'.
gmake[1]: Leaving directory
`/usr/local/src/gs/20050708/dev-apps/test/Testsuite/base/GenericTests'

base/NSBundle/resources.m:
FAIL: +pathForResource:ofType:inDirectory: works
FAIL: +pathForResource:ofType:inDirectory:withVersion: works
FAIL: -pathsForResourcesOfType:inDirectory: returns an array
FAIL: -pathForResource:ofType:inDirectory: finds a file
FAIL: -pathForResource:ofType:inDirectory: with nil type finds a file

base/NSString/NSString_custom.m:
FAIL: character set encoding/decoding works

 101 COMPLETED
   6 FAIL
2400 PASS

What's the baseline on Linux and Solaris?

Peter
