Details:
attached are two screenshots. One from gnustep, and one from osx. Both are
displaying a small star image. on the gnustep screenshot you can see that the
edges of the star are tinted green. The osx screenshot displays the star in
its correct colors. You can also see that the clock image (also with a
transparent background) doesn't appear to be affected.
