Follow-up Comment #1, bug #30218 (project gnustep):

I'm not sure about the problem diagnosis here ...
'Some archives produced by apple contain NSURL with no relative string'

The GNUstep binary archive format is not compatible with Apple's one (and
NSURL doesn't support keyed archiving), so I can't see how this can appear.

Perhaps the actual problem is a lack of keyed archiving support and we need
to reverse engineer that support from some apple archives?
