I can imagine that we could use #expand for brand.dtd.in files ... can/should
we do the same for .properties (e.g. -> properties.in) files?
Anyway, what substitution variables would we need in addition to those
that exist (e.g. APP_DISPLAY_NAME)?
I see:
VENDOR_NAME (doesn't this exist already?)
VENDOR_BASEURL (e.g. http://www.mozilla.org or http://gnuzilla.gnu.org)
COMPONENT_CALENDAR_NAME (e.g. Sunbird and Calendar)
COMPONENT_CALENDAR_URL_PATH (e.g. '/projects/calendar' and '/calendar.html')
.. any more?
And what about appstrings? How can we approach that? For me sedding
seems feasible as we could easily sed through all locales ...
