gnash plugin and gnu icecat 2.0.0.13g1

I downloaded GNU Icecat 2.0.0.13g1.

I needed gnash so I installed firefox on a different pc with ubuntu  and
then installed gnash plugin from ubuntu repositories.

I followed two symbolic links until I came to a file called something
like libgnashplugin.so.

I renamed that file in flashplugin-alternative.so  and put it into the
plugins directory of icecat.


With this little trick I am able to use GNU Icecat with gnash plugin but
 I cannot see youtube video (while I see some movies such as
www.sestitoacademy.it for example).

Gnash loads the frame, buttons, bar. I can click and the buttons
respond, the red loading bar is progressing but if I click play, the
indicator remains there. :)


It's because of my trick or is it gnash fault?
