general information:

Linux thinktux 2.6.32-27-generic #49-Ubuntu i686 GNU/Linux

Heja!

I'm not quite sure if the following is a bug or a feature…

Every time when starting „private browsing“ within Icecat, I get a
warning from the gnuzilla privacy extension:

“A script modified a link in the page, this can cause serious privacy
problems”

Error console writes:

 “No chrome package registered for
chrome://privacy_features/skin/overlay.css”

and

“Failed to load XPCOM component:
/usr/share/mozilla/extensions/{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}/{19503e42-ca3c-4c27-b1e2-9cdb2170ee34}/components/.autoreg“

I've to inform you that I've unzipped the privacy extension in
/usr/lib/icecat/extensions on my own because I get another well known
error from Icecat. This may be the reason for the new error?!?

All the Best

BEn
