[Bug-gnuzilla] Menus in Icecat 24

I have a question regarding how Icecat 24 draws menus:
Using a fork of TinyWM, I cannot get any application level dropdown menu
or application level right-click menu to appear unless Chromium is also
running. FWIW, all menus seem to work correctly in Chromium, and work
correctly in Icecat when Chromium is running.

                                                            In Icecat 17 the
menus would appear, but as soon as
the mouse moved, the menus would close. This is the behaviour that I
currently see in Icedove.

Has anybody else seen this behaviour in minimalistic window managers? If
not, can anybody point me to the relevant source files so that I can
investigate this some more?

When using DWM, I no longer see this issue, so it may very well be a bug
in the fork of TinyWM that I am using.

Thanks,
Zach
