strange behavior

i have a program that was written about two or three years ago on a sun os.
the program worked fine. since gcc has been upgraded to gcc version 3.1.
when i run it, i get a Segmentation fault (core dumped). i have tried it on
several freebsd machines with
gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]  and gcc version 3.2.1 [FreeBSD]
20021119.

is anyone know of any bugs or where i can find information pertaining to
bugs one g++ 3.1
