This shouldn't be mentioned in the man or info pages, IMHO.  Not 
just because the repetition is ugly, but also: there are other 
conflicting option combinations too -- for example -l with -c or -o 
-- and nothing is said about those.  It would be better to have a 
general paragraph on what happens in case of conflicting options.  
But see my upcoming mail on this.

One more thing about the patch: in the man page, -c should come 
before --colour, just like -b comes before --binary-files.
