Yes, that is what I want.  Just to be doubly sure, I'll state it another way: 
the colour given by "sl" is used (with -v and without -v) for the lines that 
use ":" as a separator (or would use it if prefixes were present), and "cx" for 
the lines that use (or would use) "-".
