I guess Stepan's too busy doing other things.  I think we should ask the 
maintainers of other GNU utilities whether any of them would like to handle 
Grep.  Do you know what would be a good set of email addresses to write to? 
Perhaps bug-gnu-utils and bug-coreutils.

I could help out with doing a release but I haven't done one before.  I'll see 
if I can find some documentation about what to do and how to do it.  If you 
know where this info is, or can help, please say.
