Hello,
i had grub working on my box with Linux-Mandrake for a long time.
Now i have debian to be concruent with our servern.
grub (GNU GRUB 0.5.96)
The box has ide-zip drive:
Here is the device-map
(fd0) /dev/fd0
(hd0) /dev/hdc
(hd1) /dev/sda
Everytime i want to "setup (hd1)" the zip drive is attached.
PS: in the grub shell it knows what hd1 really is, only setup fails.
At home i had grub working (only standard hardware, no scsi), after
switching to debian grub finds the partition corrupt (hmm maybe i
repartitioned with cfdisk ..)
Fdisk is happy with it when it verifies it.
