Subject: | Cygwin + Grub possible? |

OK, hi.
I just got the latest GRUB from CVS and just
installed the full latest CYGWIN on my Win2k machine.
I tried compiling GRUB under CYGWIN, but it
unfortunately does not work.
The configure chokes on the following
line:
checking if start is defined by
the compiler... no
checking if _start is defined by the compiler... no configure: error: Neither start nor _start is defined I do not quite understand how it can be that
neither start nor _start is defined? How can anything
link successfully than? I would you use DJGPP to
build it, but then I can't use configure and manual
creation of make files for some code that you are
unfamiliar with is a pain.
Is it at all possible to compile GRUB on a Windows
machine?
Or should I just quit and emulate linux in Bochs...? --
